Beef Marbling Score (BMS)

OUR STANDARD

BMS stands for Beef Marbling Score in the meat industry. It is a general grading system used to evaluate beef's amount and distribution of intramuscular fat (marbling). The marbling significantly contributes to the meat's flavor, tenderness, and juiciness. The BMS scale typically ranges from 1 to 12, with higher numbers indicating higher marbling content and, consequently, a higher quality grade of beef.
